Once in a Lifetime

Today Susie and I participated in the Girl Scout Golden Gate Bridging event!

It's a Girl Scout tradition to 'bridge' from one level to the next and we have been looking forward to this event for years (it is only available for Junior Girl Scouts moving up Cadettes).   It was an incredible event that hosted 5,200 Girl Scouts from 14 different states (Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Washington).
We had such a good time being with so many girls, trading S.W.A.P.S., walking across the bridge, and roaming through all of the event booths.  Definitely a once in a lifetime moment that we will always remember being a part of!

We started on the North (Marin) end of the bridge and walked across the bridge to San Francisco
