Seven

Today is Sam's 7th birthday.  I can't believe how quickly the years are flying by.  In honor of his birthday here are 7 things we love about him:

1.  He is a good friend.
2.  He is a kind brother.
3.  He is smart.
4.  He is super competitive ... just like the rest of the family ;)
5.  He can do some pretty awesome flips and tricks!
6.  He has boundless energy!
7.  He is so sweet and still loves to snuggle.

Here are a few pictures from his birthday party yesterday.  He and his friends had a super fun time running, jumping and all sorts of other crazy stuff at Bounce U.

Taylor Swift's

RED Concert

Susie and I had a simply a-mazing time at Taylor's concert!

This concert sold out in minutes!  I bought tickets for Susie last fall and surprised her with them at Christmas - so we have been eagerly anticipating this moment for a while now!

Ed Sheeran started the night off and he was incredible!

The entire arena was sparkling with swiftys who made all sorts of lit up poster size signs saying "Taylor" "22" "13" "RED" "ED"  some of the fans were even covered head to toe in red christmas lights!  Susie says that next time we need to make a lit up words ;)

and then came Taylor...

We loved the red guitar and all her cute outfits.

Singing "The Last Time" with Gary Lightbody ... one of my favorite moments of the night.

Singing "Everything Has Changed" with Ed Sheeran ... another fav moment

She ended with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" confetti filled the arena!

It was so fun being there with Susie ... seeing how excited she was ... singing along to all the songs ... and just taking it all in!

School's back in session!

One Last Trip

... before school starts.

We packed up the van and headed down to Halfmoon Bay and Santa Cruz for the weekend.  With everyone here and there at camps, efy, and reserves all summer - it was nice for the 5 of us to get away all together.  It was a relaxing weekend that allowed us all to recharge and gear up another year of school.

Good Times!

Utah

This year due to Girls Camp, Trek, Soccer etc. we only had one week to spend in Utah.  That meant we had to cram lots and lots of fun into a short time.

Ben spent the week at EFY and had an amazing experience.

The rest of us spent time with my family - shopping, playing, crafting, and celebrating!

School shopping with the girls after dropping Ben off at EFY - this is becoming a fun yearly tradition.

We went to join in the Pioneer fun on July 24th at the DUP Museum.  The kids played pioneer games and then Grandma took us on a tour of the museum and showed us the room that she and a few fellow DUP ladies decorated for the reopening of the museum.

Celebrating the little boys birthdays together has become another summer tradition.
This year we went to the Guffey's home to go 4-wheeling.  The kids had an absolute BLAST!
