Where did February Go?

Time just flies sometimes and February was no exception.  We have been busy with lots of little things like ...

 Preschool Fieldtrips
{A fun place in downtown Roseville called Re-Create, where you create masterpieces with junk}

 Practicing Piano
{but not before torturing the mom with whining and hollering}

School Projects
{Susie's museum report based on the book From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler  by E. L. Konigsburg}

 Celebrating 16 years of marriage!
{Chick-fil-a and carpet samples ... so romantic}

More School Projects
{Ben's suitcase report on Night by Elie Wiesel}

 Visitors in town
 {I love that Uncle Clark is mocking Ben's tendency to hide from my camera lens - very funny}
Scrapbooking
{This time it was Connie's turn, and it was fun to help her out and hear about her amazing trip!  She is using Becky Higgin's Project Life to document her and my Dad's cruise to the Mediterranean}

Our Eagle Scout - Fully Decorated!

Ben's Eagle Court of Honor!
{Trying to figure out how to make the slideshow took MUCH more time that anticipated!  But I loved looking back at all of Ben's scouting experiences from Cub Scouts to Eagle Scout.}

and Girl Scout Cookie Sales!

Tiled

I told Steve that this year should be the year our room gets updated (finally Mom and Dad's turn!) So we started with having the upstairs bathrooms tiled and I LOVE it!

Our friend Cam and his Dad came to do it and Sam was instantly their best buddies ... chatting with them non-stop and then relaying all their stories and instructions to us.
Last night we were supposed to stay off the tile in the master bathroom and Sam made sure to let us ALL know ... but then he needed his toothbrush ... so it was a dilemma between staying off the tile or getting his toothbrush so that his teeth would not fall out. We offered some alternatives (i.e. new toothbrush, skipping tooth brushing for one night) but he couldn't wrap his little mind around that. Then a few minutes later, he appeared with his toothbrush and we asked "how did you get that?" without missing a beat he said "Vampire Power". Oh my word, the things he says - LOL!
He made me promise not to tell Cam ... but when Cam came this morning he immediately fessed up ;)
