Reading is Fun!

As a part of the Girl Scout 'Journeys' program our troop has learned the power of one - the power of a team - the power of the community! The final project is a service project that the girls plan that will benefit their community. Our girls decided to collect new and gently used books to donate to a local elementary school so that all kids could have access to their own books. Yesterday the girls had fun painting tote bags to put the books into! What a great experience!

Call Us CrAZy!

For our YM/YW activity last night we played 'Where's Waldo' at the mall. This involved people from our ward hiding in the mall somewhere while groups of the youth tried to find us. Most of us were in disguise! So I put on my CrAZy wig and glasses and hid out with my kids in the mall playgrounds. What we do for our callings!!

Then today was CrAZy hair day at school and Sam wanted Orange and White hair - here he is in all his CrAZiness!!

It is hard to believe that our first baby is a teenager now!

Are we that old?

Ben is smart, funny, athletic, loving, competitive and has a talent for making duct tape wallets!

It should also be noted that he sometimes enjoys antagonizing his siblings, pretending to have practiced the piano and hiding from Mom's camera.

Cousin Time

We had so much fun having Aimee, JJ and Willard visit us! It makes us all wish we lived closer and could do this kind of thing more often ... for now we are thankful for the little moments we do get!
